The king of Rafghanistan and his secretary-general, Martin I, have decided to increase the number of seats in parliament from three to five.
Recently, Christian I announced his plans to run for parliament, affiliating with the republican side. This brings the total number of candidates to a staggering seven. The unexpectedly high amount of interest had led to theories that the government many increase the number of seats in parliament.
John III has entered the political race in his quest to become part of the Rafghan parliament. He has decided to affiliate with the National Democratic party.
Today, April 18, 2012, Kieran I has decided to affiliate himself with the National Democratic party.
Note: If a candidate affiliates with a certain party, it does not affect the outcome of the race. It just shows their political preferences. Today, April 17, 2012, the candidates for the parliamentary election have taken their political sides. On the democratic team is Daniel I. and Cyrus I. The chairman for the democratic team is Martin I. On the republican side is Ryan I and Chad II. Their chairman is Ryan I. Oddly, Chad II has had no problems with his political competitor also being chairman of the republicans. The only undecided candidate is Kieran. It will be interesting to see if these political teams begin to have alliances.
Today, the king of Rafghanistan has decided that elections for parliament will be held in July 2012. Before he actual election, each candidate will be able to affiliate either the National Democratic or Republican party. Also, each candidate will be able to give a statement about why they should be elected in May 2012.
